On 28 January 2016, Billanook College opened its brand new $1.8m Discovery Centre building.

Former long-time Billanook College Deputy Principal, Mrs. Cheryl Mutabazi, formally opened the Discovery Centre, which will serve as a multi-purpose open-plan learning environment with breakout spaces.

The new building replaced the College’s original Year 7 building, and combines indoor and outdoor flexible learning areas that integrate with the school’s outstanding natural environment.
