Challenging traditional ideas on library design, collection, layout and signage, International Library Consultant, Kevin Hennah presents his thought provoking ideas on why school libraries need to weed more than just print if they are to remain relevant.
Kevin Hennah’s background includes 20 years experience working with international retail brands. In 2002 he
made the transition to work with libraries on strategies to maximise usage and improve presentation and image.
During this time he has carried out onsite consultations to hundreds of libraries internationally and input into the
design of dozens of new libraries.
Kevin’s understanding of the operational requirements of libraries is coupled with practical advice that is sensitive
to budget restrictions and challenges traditional thinking. He is the Author of The Victorian Public Libraries’
Image Handbook (Australia) and the featured author in Re-think, Ideas for Inspiring School Library Design. With
hundreds of photographs of impressive library spaces and a dynamic pace, Kevin Hennah promises an inspirational
and information rich day. Join him to explore:
- Contemporary ideas on library presentation and promotion
