Onsite consultation, up to 1 day, to discuss the needs and vision for the library.

Our consultation includes a detailed discussion of your collection and the most effective ways to display it, along with advice on the shelving range that will provide the greatest flexibility and long-term future-proofing for your library.

We also work with you to design engaging visual spaces that maximise impact, driving higher circulation and encouraging traffic flow throughout the library. In addition, we help create versatile multipurpose and learning areas that support a wide range of activities and evolving needs.

Teams meeting to discuss the findings from the visit.

This meeting is designed to confirm the concept designs and ensure every requirement of the library has been addressed before the floorplan is developed.

It’s also an opportunity to review and make any adjustments needed to refine the design.

Everything in ‘Layout package’, plus:

Initital onsite consultation, up to 1 day, to discuss all aspects of the design, the colour scheme.

Our consultation covers shelving colour and layout plus furniture fabric selections. Powdercoat and fabric samples are provided to guide your choices.

We’ll also show you how the right signage can create strong visual impact and bring your library design together.

Evaluate its effect on collection display.

As part of the consultation, we’ll review the natural light sources within the room and consider how they impact the overall design.

This helps guide shelving layout, zoning, and furniture placement to make the most of available light. Creating a brighter, more inviting, and functional library space.

For clarity & reference for each of the spaces.

Our digital mood board brings your library design to life.

Using your selected fabric swatches and powder coat samples, we create a visual guide to help you see how colours, finishes, and textures of your library shelving and furniture will work together.

Your mood board makes it easier to plan other elements of your library with other consultants, including carpets and paint for a cohesive, inspiring space.

Design

Raeco’s Industrial Designers work with you to create Libraries and flexible learning spaces that optimise flow and form.

Design services include:

  • Onsite or remote consultation
  • Selection of Australian made library shelving and furniture
  • Interior design including colour palette and finishes selection
  • Design of customised shelving and furniture options
  • Completion of design proposals
  • Floorplan creation – including 2D, 3D and walk though visuals

Installation

With a vast number of library and learning space installations under our belt, Raeco’s network of installation teams ensure your floor plan concept is achieved.

Installation services include:

  1. Placement of shelving and furniture into your spaces (when included in your project scope)
  2. Assembly of shelving and bay end panels as per agreed configurations
  3. Removal of packaging
  4. Reconfiguring of shelving (when included in your project scope)
  5. Book relocation (when included in your project scope)
  6. Regular communication and updates during your installation
