Raeco offered the best solutions for our school
After ten years in the Mandeville Centre space, our furniture was in need of refreshment. Raeco were extremely helpful, offering suggestions and advice in regards to both furniture and colour schemes that would fit with our award-winning architecture and vista.
The new furniture has been a hit with staff and students alike, with VCE students flocking to use the booth seating at all hours of the day. These booths offer us increased flexibility outside of class times, providing a comfortable place to study, read or play card games. The arm chairs are proving popular for students and staff who like to sit and read or play chess while the streamlined library front desk is functional and complements the space well.

Thank you, we have had another positive experience with Raeco. The new shelves really lift the space and make the shelves items pop. The best thing about working with Raeco, other than product quality and aesthetic is the positive customer experience you provide.
Your communication is great, we know when everything will happen, and your installers have been professional and excellent communicators too.
The thing that let’s most projects down is a lack of communication or poor communication. This is not the case when dealing with Raeco.

We were fortunate to work with Lisa from Raeco to plan and purchase all the shelving and accessories for our new school library. Lisa was incredibly helpful through every stage of the process. Her many years of experience were obvious and greatly valued.
Lisa came to visit our school when we were in the initial planning stages and provided advice on shelving choices and the library layout.
Lisa offered helpful information on the best solutions for our school, and the accessories we needed. Lisa continued to assist when there were the inevitable changes to the plan over two years and worked with our architects to draw up a final shelving plan. The new Raeco shelving works perfectly and the many options for outward facing displays greatly enhance our new library. Lisa also visited our library again once the project was finished. This is the second library project I have worked on with Lisa, and I would definitely work with Lisa and Raeco again for any future library renovations.

IT’S DIRTY!
The first reaction from students when we used Bioguard 80® was “It’s dirty.” Teaching staff did not initially like the texture.
However, once we explained that we would be using Bioguard 80® because it’s fully biodegradable, and that we are a Steiner school following sustainability practices, everyone accepted it, and we continue to use it.
It’s easy to apply, and it makes book covering less time-consuming. High-turnover books withstand the handling of many.
We love how we can identify which books are covered in Bioguard 80® and dispose of them without having to remove the cover.
We will continue ordering.

Raeco understood our vision!
Raeco understood our vision and brought it to life by carefully considering the design of the space. The response from our students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive, making it a sought-after destination for work and study. We even had to implement separate booking systems for the popular learning pods. The ability to view resources across the open library space has been a genuine pleasure. The refurbishment has not only met but exceeded all our expectations, surpassing anything we could have envisioned.

I just wanted to touch base with you to thank you for all your assistance with our library shelving, noticeboard and general library upgrade.
I would also like to thank Dean and the delivery men for their professional service. The delivery men were always on time and rang to say if they were only running a few minutes late. They were also very thorough and careful to not damage anything that they brought in especially through our narrow library door. They took their packaging away and were careful that nothing was left in anyone’s way.
Dean in particular was fantastic! His installation was exceptional. He took the time to make sure we were placing the shelves in the best possible spot for our library space. He was also incredibly helpful with tips and tricks on how to treat our shelves, such as not pulling the bay ends as we may rip them off. He made sure that all the wheels were kicked in and his attention to detail was excellent. In particular I would like to thank Dean for installing our noticeboard so perfectly. At the end of last year, when Dean was onsite, he discussed with our builders how best to construct the wall so that the noticeboard could be securely attached. I was at school when Dean installed the noticeboard this year and I could see what a difficult job it was to ensure that all the slats aligned in a perfect row.
Mia was also lovely to deal with and kept me informed of delivery dates and changes.
Thank you Lisa for calling in last year and helping us with the shelving placement and any other questions we had. We are really enjoying our new space but, in particular, we are enjoying seeing the students arriving this week and being completely amazed by our new library.

Loving the new look!
I just wanted to say thank you for all your time and effort, the planning and the colour selection. All our students and teachers are so happy with the new look, especially the colour selection. It’s fresh and modern and it has calmness and focus at the same time.

Lisa Listened and we are thrilled!
Early in 2022, we were fortunate enough to have Lisa visit our library.
During this visit, Lisa listened to our vision for the library space, which primarily involved the creation of a library space for our youngest library users as well as creating greater scope for displaying books in a forward-facing style. Lisa guided us with our decision making, drawing on her wealth of experience with other library spaces.
When the new shelving and furniture arrived, Dean was a fantastic help in working with us to open the library space up, creating a variety of spaces for different uses within the space. We have been thrilled with the outcome of this project; students are enjoying the new spaces and displays, positively engaging in all the library offerings.

Positive feedback from students, staff and parents!
Our Library has undergone refurbishment in line with NSW DET Futures Learning Project. With the help of the Raeco designer and the professional installation team, we have achieved a flexible learning space that allows students to work collaboratively as well as individually. Students can also relax in comfort in their recreational time: reading, studying or quietly chatting with friends.
To maximise space and to facilitate reading our shelving is attractive and modern with various display shelves to encourage student engagement.
We are delighted with our Library space and have had very positive feedback from staff, students, parents and guests.
