St Albans Meadows Primary School’s library has undergone a stunning transformation, made possible through a collaboration with their Raeco Area Manager.
The refurbished space features a cohesive colour scheme for the shelving that complements the room’s existing decor, creating an open, airy feel while allowing books to take centre stage.
The library now showcases flexible, Australian-made furniture that can be easily rearranged to support a variety of activities. Abundant face-out display shelving, particularly for the junior picture book collection, ensures that books are prominently featured and readily accessible, enhancing the browsing experience for all students.
By removing wall and ceiling artwork, the library feels brighter and more expansive, further shifting the focus to the collection while creating an inviting, calm environment for both learning and leisure.
Our before-and-after images showcase the dramatic transformation, demonstrating how we can revitalise any school library, whether through a complete overhaul or a targeted refresh.
