Tanglin Trust Junior Library – Singapore

Designed to Inspire Young Readers

This recent library project showcases a thoughtfully designed environment that supports exploration, discovery, and independent browsing for junior students. Ample face-out display space, both at bay ends and within each shelving unit, ensures that books are easily visible and inviting.

Clear, genrefied signage within each row enhances wayfinding, making it simple for students to navigate and find titles that capture their interests.

Creative shelving configurations and small clusters of bays are paired with strategically placed furniture to create welcoming zones throughout the library. These elements work together to foster curiosity and encourage young readers to engage, explore, and borrow.
